[ He bows his head again. ]

Yeah. I'd like that.

[ He leans in to press a kiss to Yuuri's hairline. ]

Okay. If there's anything else you want or need me to do, all you have to do is ask.

[ He shakes his head lightly and leans it against Viktor. ]

No ... I'm fine.

[fourlevels]

[ Viktor leans his cheek against Yuuri's head. ]

Right now you may be, but the offer stands.

Then ... thank you, Viktor.

[ He kisses the hollow of Viktor's neck lightly. ]

You're welcome, моя любовь.

[ Viktor settles more into the covers, draping an arm over Yuuri and gathering him close. ]

[ Yuuri settles in then, and lets himself drift off. No regret in his expression tonight. ]

[ There's that, at least.

Whereas Viktor might be awake for some time, trying to calm his mind from the events of the night by watching Yuuri sleep. It's only about after an hour that he finally drifts off too. ]

[ Sorry, Viktor. Yuuri at least has an easy enough time sleeping. His shock wasn't quite as bad as Viktor's, and having Viktor there next to him staves off the worst.

But maybe Viktor's not having as good of a night here... ]

[ No. No, he is not.

It's in the dead of night that Yuuri gets woken up by something ... strangling him? Something wrapped around his body and squeezing tightly, an odd rasping sound loud in his ear. ]

[ A hand is moving up to Viktor's mouth, even, clamping down over it. While another arm snakes around his waist. Someone coming to take him away in the night, clearly. ]

[ It only makes Viktor's muscles tense even more, the sensations mingling with his nightmare of flashing knifes and spurting blood and oh god Yuuri don't look at me like that—

He cries out, the look of horror in Yuuri's face too for his subconsciousness to bear, and he starts to flail, trying to push those hand and arms away from him. ]

[ Yuuri is pushed away pretty easily. Between that and the flailing, he jolts up in bed muzzily, trying to orient himself. ]

-- Viktor?

[fourlevels]

[ Viktor's still half asleep, still caught in his nightmare as he tries to kicks off the covers, scrambling towards the edge of the bed. His face is incredibly pale and sweaty, his long bangs stuck to his forehead and his eyes are bright with fear. ]

[ Oh. Shit. Yuuri wakes up a bit more at that, moving to try and approach him. ]

V-Viktor, it's me ...

[fourlevels]

[ Yuuri's voice seems to get through Viktor's fear-haze, or at least makes him stop trying to scramble off the bed. Staring at Yuuri wide-eyed, he lets out a string of curses in Russian.

With a shaky hand, Viktor pulls his hair away from his face. His voice is trembling just as bad. ]

... Y-Yuuri?

[nextlevel]

[ Yuuri gently approaches the edge of the bed, reaching a hand out for his face. ]

It's me, Viktor. Here ... it's all right ...

[fourlevels]

[ Viktor's skin is clammy to the touch. There's a pause after Yuuri touches him, his only reaction is to inhale slowly. After several beats, Viktor finally relaxes with a harsh exhale, covering Yuuri's hand with his own. ]

[nextlevel]

[ There we go. Yuuri creeps closer an inch at a time. ]

Nightmare, huh.

[fourlevels]

[ Viktor doesn't answer out loud, nodding instead. He watches Yuuri come closer, not protesting it or moving away. ]
