[ Yuuri gently reaches up to frame Viktor's face with his chin. ]

I mean it. These rings are proof.

[ Throat still tight, Viktor nods against Yuuri's hands. ]

... Don't let that be something you're afraid of. Please.

[ Both of his hands raise to cover Yuuri's, gently squeezing them. ]

[ He leans down, then, to kiss Viktor's ring. ]

[ Oh. Oh, that just makes the ache in Viktor's chest worse. He throws his arms around Yuuri's shoulders, fingers tangling in his hair. ]

[ Yuuri gladly leans in to squeeze him back tightly. ]

Let's go back to bed, Viktor. It'll be better in the morning.

[ Viktor presses a kiss to his hair, his breath stirring the strands and voice tight with emotion. ]

You've already made it better.

Never thought there'd come a day when you weren't excited about sleeping with me.
