That...isn't quite how we work. We don't command our domains. I can't make people fall in love or stop wars from happening. I just...guide. I can lend my support and influence to one side or the other, but I can't prevent senseless acts.

Ooh, is that how it works. I guess it's sort of like how religion is back in our own world then, but the gods aren't so evidently present.

Still ... even an actually-there, guiding hand is something. I'm not very religious myself, but it makes more sense to me than what's back home.
