[ Normally, Viktor's hangovers aren't quite so dramatic the next day, but other events that happened after the drinking just compound the problem for Viktor this time. Even at 11am, he's still not out of bed, and he squints at the brightness of his phone. ]
I'd say it was a memorable night, but I honestly can't remember some parts of it.
[ Hinami doesn't know Viktor overly well, but he'd been friendly and certainly seemed to enjoy his coffee. So she's more than happy to track his frequency down and send him an invite to RE:'s grand opening.
present the date says March 1st my new computer doesn't have photoshop ]
[ Perhaps it's a bit old-fashioned, but the message arrives for Viktor via mockingbird. Sealed closed by a wax mockingbird sigil, the letter is hand-written in careful cursive. ]
Dear Mr. Nikiforov -
We have not spoken before, but my name is Petyr Baelish. I serve as the ambassador for Maurtia Falls. I write to you on behalf of a project I am working on within my city. Construction has already begun on rebuilding a much larger library, but I wish for this to be more than simply a bigger structure. I hope to inspire education and the spread of knowledge to the natives of Maurtia Falls as well as provide an invaluable resource to new arrivals here. But more than that, I wish to use it to pay homage to the natives who lost their lives within Maurtia Falls due to imPort related tragedies. Their names will be honored within the library itself and donations will be set up to be made to the families.
For this project to succeed, I need your help. If you are able to donate anything at all to the cause, it would be most appreciated -- whether that is books, money, or simply your time. I plan to put programs into place once the library is finished to have imPorts come in and read to the much younger generation. I believe it would be a great way to strengthen the native and imPort bond.
I thank you for your time, and I do hope to hear back from you soon.
Sincerely, Ambassador Petyr Baelish
[ OOC: You can feel free to just respond to this OOCly if he would donate anything or not! ]
[ This morning, there's two packages waiting for Viktor when he wakes up. One is the half finished list of sponsors that Adachi promised. There are notes all over, pointing out financial capabilities of each business, where the money is coming from and where it goes, and what businesses have dealings that can't be explained without a closer look. A few of them are circled, declaring that Viktor should call them ASAP, particularly a clothing designer, whose information was even on top of the pile. There are some with notes of caution, noting that while the numbers are good, there are some things that Adachi had questions about. Still the guy was good with money, so it might be worth a shot? ]
[ The other package is unmarked, and the handwriting is unfamiliar -- almost like someone took off their glasses to write the note inside. With it are three cards marked "night pass" for the ice rink in Heropa. ]
If you go to the rink before they close and show the pass, they'll let you stay however long you need.
Most they can allow for until you make names for yourselves.
[ It's unsigned, and there's nothing else inside that could point to where it came from. It's totally just a coincidence that it arrived with Adachi's package, right? ]
[ It's two days before Friday. Two days before Adachi needed to get dressed and go out on a date. Not his first, no, but the first he had the presence of mind to give the best try he could to get right. ]
Viktor i need help The dates in two days and i just They said it was semi formsl but Idk aboyt just wearing my usual suit I mean i wear thind thing everyehere I mean its formal But semi formal Idk what that even means I need help Like teally bad
[ The panic has definitely set in, considering the rapid line by line send of the message storm Adachi just sent over. ]
[ Of course, Adachi gets to the shopping district ten minutes early; early enough to wear a worried rut in the floor with all the pacing he's doing back and forth. He had given up on work for the day long before he even texted Viktor, and now the sparkly envelope (he swore that glitter just seemed to multiply) was being passed back and forth between his hands as he tried desperately not to full out panic. ]
