I've never had anything this big before except for the arm with Miles, but that wasn't a wound like this was. Cuts and scrapes heal within just a few minutes. I think it may take as long as my arm took to heal? So two or three days, maybe?

[ There's the dull murmur of other customers in the background now, so he must be in the store already. ]

[ There's some sounds from Viktor's side of the call, something like fabric? A sleeves? Rustling against the phone before the unmistakable sound of the phone being dropped on the floor before it finally cuts off. It's just as hard to end a call as it was to answer it. :( ]

[ It really doesn't take him too much longer to get there—barely even ten minutes from the time Viktor finally managed to end the call. The front door practically slams open and then closes at a much more reasonable volume. ]

[ Here being in the kitchen, Viktor having given up and just put his hand under cold water again in the sink. He tired blocking the drain to make it fill up, but was only half-successful with it, the seal not perfect. At least he'd been able to get that much so he wouldn't have the pressure of running water over the blisters that have popped up. ]

[ He hurries into the kitchen and tosses the bag of supplies he'd bought on the counter by the sink, leaning around Viktor to pear into the water. ]

[ Viktor takes them out of the water to let Yuuri see the full damage. Angry welts and blisters cover near the entirety of his palms; the way Yusuke had grasped the kettle made even the inside folds of his fingers red, raw, or blistered. Viktor can barely even flex his fingers like this. ]

[ Yuri can't help but let out a startled, sharply alarmed gasp. This is a much worse injury than he'd been expecting. Would the cream even be enough?? An uncomfortably long moment passes before he realizes he's frozen in place and reaches abruptly for the burn cream, fumbling with the cap. ]

...Can you even close your hand like that?

Ah, not really? I wouldn't want to pop the blisters by trying anyway.

I'm kind of afraid I'm going to pop them if I touch them.

As long as you go slow, it should be fine. I'd rather have all the help I can get for the pain.

[ Well... He sighs and squirts some of the cream directly onto Viktor's hand and gets a cotton swab to very gingerly spread it around in a layer that is probably too thick, but it makes him feel better. ]

[ He winces, just slightly, at the gentle pressure, but he doesn't complain at it. It probably was too thick, but maybe the extra cream meant extra pain relief? He'll take what he can get honestly. ]

...I think it's too swollen to bandage normally. What about putting your arm in a sling so you don't bump it into anything?
