[ He's so zoned out that it's a miracle he even manages to get there, unwilling to go inside just yet. So, he sort of paces outside, nervous and feeling slightly sick. By the time Yuuri sees Viktor, he's only managed to calm down a little; his face is still red, and he's sort of prepared himself for the worst outcome—whatever that might be. He lifts his hand to wave, a pathetic sort of motion, but he doesn't say anything else. ]
[ When Viktor arrives, his face is flushed too—did he run to get there? Signs point to yes, though rather than running, he seems to be ... skating? On the sidewalk?? He even makes the same stopping motions with his ankles and legs even though there aren't physical blades on his feet, coming to a somewhat rough stop in his haste.
He smiles faintly at the wave though, hopeful what that could mean. ]
Hi. Were you waiting long? I got here as fast as I could.

text, b-b-b-backdated to the day after they met aka the day after That Report
You were sad at a panel? Someone slapped you and you pushed yourself too hard?
[ he seemed fine yesterday too, but Nill's the crown princess of #fine and she's not leaving it alone just yet... even if it's a mis-painted picture, his life has been made news and that must be hard enough ]
Ah, you saw the majority report then? A lot of it is just nonsense, I promise. A reporter fanning the flames of a gossip fire; it's something I'm used to from home actually.
[ "A lot", he says, but that's different than "all of it", and there's no denying the video of the slap even if there was no audio of what Adachi and Viktor were saying to each other. ]
It's alright not to talk to me about it, we're still very new friends and your problems are your own it isn't fair that the report shared them with me or with anyone else, but please if there is ever anything I can do to help you I would like to. Now or in the future it is an open offer
[ A few minutes pass before Viktor replies, touched by her concern. ]
We may have only just met, but you're a very good friend, Nill.
I am safe though! The video you saw was actually showing another friend doing me a favor, even if it was unconventional. I'd been ... having a hard time when my fiancé was ported out. Tohru (the man in the video) called me a zombie, which isn't too far off really. He was making me come out of it to see the other people in front of me who also loved me.
Just recently though he's forgotten everything that happened when he was here. It's made him a little anxious, but I bet making new friends would help him.
